Halfway january 2010, I spent 5 days in the Magellanic and Antarctic region of Chile. Back in 1992, I was in the area by ship and could'nt get to Torres Del Paine. This time I had the chance to fully appreciate the breathtaking wonders of the Park. Icy blue lakes, streaming rivers, huge glaciars and icebergs and snow capped mountain peaks.

Lago Pehoe  The view from this point overlooking the Lake Pehoe in the Magallanes Region of southern Chile is truly breathtaking and impressive. Guanacos  Different microclimates create an interesting diversity of vegetation that includes Pre-Andean shrub land and Patagonian Steppe.
