I arrived in Rio de Janeiro, -just a few hours before the official kick-off of Rio Carnival 2010- untill the sad moment I had to leave the "Cidade Maravilhosa" (Beautiful City) I enjoyed every single minute on the most magical grounds of Brazil.
A feast for the eyes, Carnaval in Rio is an unforgetable event. If Tokyo is a male domain, then Rio is definitely a female domain. Nowhere else in the world, you'll find more sensual, exotic and pretty women then here in Rio. The apotheosis comes at Rio Carnaval when life stands still for 5 consecutive days and nights. An orgy of colours, party on every corner of the street, samba is ever present and the beers and caipirinhas flowing in abundance.
